History
Not to be confused with the Mint Julep. The Derby uses Bourbon and vermouth to bring a fruitier, almost wine-like note to the classic horse racing scenario.
Ingredients
4cl Irish Whiskey, 1.5cl Sweet Vermouth, 1.5cl Dry Orange Curacao, 1.5cl lime juice, 2 dashes Angostura
Preparation
Shake ingredients vigorously with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.
