History
The grandfather of all cocktails. Created in the 19th century when people asked for whisky the "old fashioned" way with sugar and bitters.
Ingredients
6cl Bourbon, 1cl Islay Whisky, 1 tsp maple syrup, 2 dashes Angostura
Preparation
Stir in the glass over a large ice cube. The Islay whisky adds a smoky finish.
